(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ryan Reynoldss marriage was not ruined by Blake Lively, the actors representative has claimed.

Earlier this week it was announced Ryan had split from fellow Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson. The pair tied the knot at a secret Canadian ceremony in September 2008 but confirmed they are parting company after careful consideration.

Rumours have been circulating that Blake, who lined up alongside Ryan, 34, in action film The Green Lantern, could have been at the centre of the break up.

But Ryans team have dismissed claims the actress forced an end to the union.

[The claim] is 100% false, Ryans rep told Extra.

No official reason has been given for the superstars decision to call it a day yet.

Friends of Scarlett have said that the 26-year-old is attempting to get her life back on track by confiding in friends, with sources claiming she has been unhappy for some time.

Ryan is also reported to have sought the help of those closest to him while he comes to terms with the separation. (C) Cover Media
