Salma Hayek will reportedly support Halle Berry's court plea for a move to France.
Halle is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle with ex Gabriel Aubry over their daughter Nahla, as she desires to move overseas to her fianc Olivier Martinez's European home country.
Gabriel is strongly contesting the star's plan because he is worried he will grow distant from his child.
According to reports, fellow actress Salma Hayek has filed a declaration to the Los Angeles judge hearing the case to support Halle's proposal.
"Salma Hayek is Halle Berry's secret weapon in her child-custody war with ex Gabriel Aubry. Hayek, who's wed to French billionaire Franois-Henri Pinault and spends a lot of time in Paris, has filed a declaration to the LA judge hearing the custody battle over Berry and Aubry's daughter, Nahla, saying France is a safer place for celebrities and their children because of tougher paparazzi laws," The New York Post reports.
Her testament is supporting Halle's argument that it is not safe for her to stay in the US because of aggressive photographers.
Halle was seen having dinner with Salma and their respective partners at Los Angeles' Little Door restaurant this week to celebrate Halle's 46th birthday, sparking another paparazzi frenzy.
