Shahid Kapoor has stepped into Saif Ali Khan's shoes. The actor positively responded to Reema Kagti's upcoming film 'Mr.Chaloo' proposal, where he will be seen playing a womanizer onscreen.

Curly locked actress Kangana Ranaut is paired opposite Sasha in the film. Initially Saif was signed for the film, but due to the remuneration issues, he backed out of the project.

A source says,"Shahid recently got a narration. He has responded positively to the story as it's the kind of character that he hasn't done in a while. The makers are now locking the dates for workshops that will start soon."

Currently the crew is in the process of finalizing locations. Before starting with Mr.Chaloo, Shahid will complete Abhishek Chaubey's 'Udta Punjab'.

Besides, Shahid and Kangana the film will also features Richa Chadda and Pooja Bhatt.
