Alia Bhatt's country-hopping schedule for her upcoming film 'Shandaar' has taken a toll on her health. The actress, who returned to India from Poland on Sunday, is suffering from high fever.

The actress underwent few medical tests also, when her health got worse on Wednesday. Along with fever, it was also reported that the actress has contracted appendicitis.

On contacting her father, Mahesh Bhatt he said, "Alia is feeling better. There is no cause for worry. All tests are clear. It was just fever and hyper acidity. Appendicitis has been ruled out."

A source informed despite of being unwell she continued shooting in the previous week, in order to prevent any delays in the film schedule.
