14th April 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Steven Tylers memoirs go on sale next month and are expected to reveal brain-jangling tales.

The 63-year-old US rocker has led a colourful life, and on May 3 News Corp's HarperCollins will publish his book Does the Noise in My Head Bother You? worldwide.

According to the publishers, the book will not keep anything hidden, and fans can expect some shocking adventures to be revealed.

They say it will recount "all the unexpurgated, brain-jangling tales of debauchery, sex and drugs, transcendence and chemical dependence you will ever want to hear".

Steven, who is best known as the frontman of rock group Aerosmith, released a book about his life back in 1997 entitled Walk This Way, although this new memoir is expected to recount more sordid tales. Dramas to affect the star in recent years include divorcing clothing designer Teresa Barrick in 2006, undergoing throat surgery in the same year, and engaging in public feuds with his Aerosmith bandmates.

The rocker is proud to say that nothing has been embellished in the book, and believes it will make for an interesting read.

[It will be] the unbridled truth, the in-your-face, up-close and prodigious tale of Steven Tyler straight from the horse's lips," he said. (C) Cover Media
