Karan Johar's upcoming film 'Student Of the Year' expected to complete its shooting schedule by mid May, which may not be happening anymore.

According to sources, actor Varun Dhawan, one of the three newcomers, suffered a serious injury on his nose while shooting for an action sequence at Film City, Mumbai, which may postpone the furthur schedule of the shoot.

Varun was given the required aid on sets but he was still in bad shape, so he was rushed to a hospital. It was there when a fracture was detected and the shooting was called off.

Varun's injury has caused a change in the schedule which may be difficult to re-schedule as the current one included dates from other actors too, including Rishi Kapoor, who is extremely busy. Also, all the preparations for a song sequence were ready, which had to be cancelled.

As of now, it is not known when Varun will be able to resume shooting, so the shoot schedule still remains unplanned.
