Three Cheers for Udhayanidhi Stalin
28th April 2011
Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin is riding high with the grand success of 'Ko'. The young producer has continuously been having a successful phase that includes 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya', 'Madharasapattinam', 'Boss Engira Baskaran' and 'Mynaa'. The producer makes his debut with the film 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'. The shooting was put on hold half-way because Santhanam had an attack of measles. Since major portions of the film involve Santhanam, director Rajesh had to postpone the shooting of this film.
'Ko' opened last Friday and theatre owners, witnessing the grand opening, have requested for more prints. Eight showings of 'Ko' have been increased and it has resulted in confusion for theatre owners over shifting it to the small screens, on account of the release of 'Vaanam' and 'Engeyum Kadhal'.
