There is no fun in Bollywood if the cat and mouse race doesn't continue. And this we see once again between the makers of 'Besharam' and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Seems like the already registered title is going through a re-registration by Viacom 18.
It is heard that initially the above production house was to produce the films, but due to issues between director Abhinav Kashyap and the production house, they fell apart. Now, Anil Ambani's film company will be producing the film.
In December 2012, all went well when the film's first look was released. But in January, Viacom applied for three titles for clearance - 'Besharams', 'Besharam' and 'Besharmi'.
Sources from the executive of AMPTPP stated that they have received a notice regarding the same. They will wait for a week to know if anyone has any issues regarding it. If not then the title will be handed over to Viacom.
Interestingly, Abhinav Kashyap nor Viacom were available for any comments.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, 'Besharam' also has Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh playing the role of cops.
