Finally all legal tangles are over for the Dhanush-starrer 'Vengai'. The movie, directed by Hari, is set for release on 7 July.

According to sources, a settlement has been reached between the producers Vijaya Productions and Eka Chakra (who had opposed the titled Vengai in court) and following this, the film is now ready for release.

The release of 'Vengai' was stayed by the Madras high court last week due to a contesting claim on the title. Justice V Ramasubramanian passed the order on an application in a suit filed by Eka Chakra Media (P) Ltd, the plaintiff.

'Vengai' stars Dhanush, Tamannah in the lead roles. A relieved Hari said, "I am happy that all issues are now sorted out. It is a great joy. The movie has turned out good and will rock the masses".
