Victoria Beckham is reportedly ecstatic at the prospect of moving closer to the UK.

The British designer's soccer star husband David is said to be considering signing a 12million 18-month contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

If the deal goes ahead, it would see the Beckham family relocate from Los Angeles to Europe.

Victoria has reportedly told friends she's "over the moon" at the thought, after becoming homesick following the birth of baby daughter Harper in July.

"This is very much what Victoria wants. She loves the lifestyle and the sun in LA, but worries constantly she's not close enough to people," a source told Closer magazine.

"It's a 12-hour flight from LA to London and she's homesick."

Victoria won Designer Brand Of The Year at last week's British Fashion Awards. The source added that her triumph in the fashion world has also made Victoria more excited about moving back to Europe.

"Vic was really humbled to receive the award. She feels like she's finally been given the recognition she's worked so hard for," the source added.

"It was an amazing night for Victoria and she feels she's been properly accepted by the fashion world. It's made her more excited about the prospect of moving back to the UK."

Victoria and David also have sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine and six-year-old Cruz together.
