Vidya Balan supports Subhash Ghai

23rd July 2014

In 2012, Subhash Ghai's institute 'Whistling Woods' received an order from the government to vacate the plot of land which is currently occupied by the institute.

The High court had ordered Ghai to vacate the land by 31st July, 2014 in lieu of a PIL (Public Interest Litigation). And as the closing day is nearing, support seems to be pouring from all the corners of Bollywood.

After Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Shekhar Kapur and others, Ghai recently received support from Vidya Balan

The actress has urged the government to support the survival of 'Whistling Woods' with dignity that it has achieved.

The director is happy with the kind of support he is receiving from the Bollywood fraternity.

"I am touched by all the support. Most members of the industry have been associated with Whistling Woods in some way or the other. It is their very own institute and hence they have come out so strongly in our support. I have now sought time from CM Chavan to get his help in saving Whistling Woods," Ghai had said in an interview earlier.
