Vijay met with a minor accident during the shoot of 'Thuppakki' and has hurt his knee. Unfortunately the shooting has been stalled following the incident.

The actor is currently in London for a treatment and the shooting will continue only once he is back and fully recovered from his injuries.

The actor had decided to attend the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IIFM) but that is likely to happen due to the accident.
