UTV Motion Pictures have started work on their big budget action adventure "Thaandavam" in New Delhi.

The film has Vikram, Anushka Shetty and Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu in the lead and is directed by AL Vijay. This movie will also see English beauty Amy Jackson.

The team will shoot for 20 days in New Delhi around the Jama Masjid area. Vijay has said the ancient mosque is crucial to the story of the film.

Later the team will leave for Los Angeles, for a month to shoot the action scenes.

Meanwhile GV Prakash has composed one of the songs for the film sung by new singer Vandana. "Thaandavam" is GV’s 25th silver jubilee film in a career spanning five years.
