8th November 2012

The Pakistani actor and singer Ali Zafar has created quite a name for himself in Bollywood. Starring in movies like 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan and 'London, Paris, New York' with Aditi Rao Hydari, Ali is all set to make another appearance in the remake of the classic hit 'Chashme Buddoor'.

Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Ali will be seen playing the role of famous television actor Farooq Sheikh.

When asked about his experience working with the popular director, here is what Ali had to say, "When I saw the original Chashme Buddoor, I knew that the plot must retain its authenticity. Also, while it must have been a challenge to render it into modern times and aesthetics, David sir has done a brilliant job. It's a family entertainer. I think we are all excited about it."

The movie also stars famous South actors Taapsee Pannu and Siddharth and it is touted to release in February 2013.
