An atrocious and out of sync story...
Suppose to be inspired by real-life incidents, 'Zila Ghaziabad' is definitely a film that cannot be closely compared to any real-life stories at all.
An atrocious and out of sync story that just leaves you all dumbfounded by the end of it, is what the actual story is all about.
Anand Kumar who makes his directorial debut with this film was definitely not taking this project seriously when he started off. He gives you nothing but bits and pieces of 'Dabangg' which is basically the entire movie.
Lots of actions stunts, big huge policemen, unnecessary romance, item numbers for God only knows what. There are only a few thrilling aspects of the film that make it a little different.
'Zila Ghaziabad' talks about real war tales that are set in the 90s. Two powerful gangs led by Satbir Gujjar (Vivek Obeori) and Mahendra Fauji (Arshad Warsi). Fauji is a right hand to a politician played by Paresh Rawal who is often referred to as 'Chairman'.
On the other hand Gujjar is a school teacher and the politician favors him as well as he is helping with the education system and he is going to be his son-in-law as well.
Sooner than you know something goes wrong between them and then enters Pritam Singh (Sanjay Dutt) as a cop with shades of grey, to play mind games against the warring gangs.
Talking about the characters in the film, the very good actors like Paresh Rawal, Ashutosh Rana and Eijaz Khan have very little part to play. Vivek oberoi tries his best, but he leaves the crowd wondering what he is up to? His on-screen chemistry with Charmy Kaur is something that is not required. Arshad Warsi plays his part well, making you hate his character at times.
One thing that will really make you laugh is all the actors sporting Ray Ban aviators. It is funny to see how bloodsuckers of the 90's model with the best and finest accessories.
The film is not even worth a one time watch. That's how bad it is!!
