The landmark film 'Bombay Talkies' that marks 100 years of the film industry is doing all it takes to inculcate the best in it. Filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee have come together with a series of short films to make this breathtaking story.
Anurag Kashyap who is known for his unique ideas, wanted something different yet again.
Anurag basically wanted to capture a scene where a diehard fan travels all the way from Allahabad to fulfill his mom's last wish of feeding Amitabh Bachchan, her handmade Muraba. The filmmaker wanted to make sure he captures Big B's historic bungalow for the same.
Big B who has never allowed anyone to shoot or see the inside of his Mumbai house 'Pratiksha' immediately agreed to let Anurag shoot in his house when he approached him.
Polite that he is, Big B allowed the fans and the team to shoot near the drive way and the reception area.
Consisting of a big star cast, the film will release on May 3, 2013.
