The much awaited film of the year starring Farhan Akhtar has finally went on floors. While there were much hassle about the male lead of the film, Farhan has been roped in by the makers. The search for the female lead is still in on and we heard many big names like Kriti Sanon, Saiyami Kher and Diana Penty are coming forward to it.

The mahurat shot for the same has been shot and Nikhil Advani shared this on his company's official twitter handle. He tweeted, "Big day for us.. Shooting for our next production @LucknowCentral directed by our very own @ranjit_tiwari commences!🎬 Cheers!🎉 #MahuratShot" alongside the picture of the clapboard.

The film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and also stars Gippy Grewal, Rajesh Sharma and Ronit Roy.
