Taapsee Pannu, who gained accolades for her role in the film 'Pink,' is now all set to mesmerise the audience with her performance in the upcoming film 'Naam Shabana' which is a prequel to the Akshay Kumar starrer 'Baby.' The trailer of the film has made its way and her fans are just going gaga over it.

The trailer shows Taapsee's journey before becoming an undercover officer Shabana Khan. Taapsee has undergone a tough training in mixed martial arts from a renowned Hollywood stunt director and it seems all her efforts have paid off.

As she plays the titular role, her journey is not easy, the amount of hurdles she has to pass and the type of people she has to face summarizes her character. Akshay Kumar, who was seen as the main lead in the sequel has enjoyed a cameo appearance in the prequel and we quite loved his witty and comic sense of humor. Shabana too is witty and unstoppable when it comes to work.

The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and will release on March 31, 2017.
