Akki's commercial instincts
2nd February 2011
In a place like Bollywood where every actor claims that he or she signs any movie only after the script excites them, no matter what the real reasons may be, but still there's this Bollywood's action hero who is not only from a different league but also wear's his heart on his sleeve, the man in question is Akshay Kumar who have recently admitted that the first thing that he sees in a film or its script is its 'Commercial viability '. The confession came from the horse's mouth when he recently discussed his take on cinema. And not only Akshay pitches for the cinema's commercial success but he also pins up whether his producers and distributors are too getting a fair share in the profit and last but not the least, then thirdly he looks over the script and his capabilities compatibility.
Surely Akshay has spoken his heart out, but the matter of fact still is, that your instincts have not really hit the target as most of your so called 'Commercial Films' like the much-hyped 'Tees Maar Khan' and 'Khatta Meetha' failed miserably in spite of your obnoxious promotions and 'commercial film' tag. Just a small piece of advice that it's high time you start looking out for the potential script that brings out your talent to core rather than just running for the commercial race.
