'Dongala Mutha' gets mixed reviews

Ram Gopal Varma posed a big challenge to the filmmakers and producers that the film can be made with production efficiency that can yield them profits. 'Dongala Mutha' was the best illustration and he has indeed mentioned if the film releases with a single show in few theatres, it can earn them profits.
The film has opened with decent prints all throughout the world and the producers are sure as shooting stars with this flick as the production cost is just Rs 6.5Lakhs.
Shot with Canon 5D camera, the film revolves around a young couple Sudhir (Ravi Teja) and Rani (Charmee) lands up at a resort in a forest. They soon find that something fishy is going on in the resort. They start hearing strange noises in their room. They are given a spine-twisting answer that a ghost is haunting the place and that they should leave immediately.
But, the couple discovers that the hotel operators are not real, but thieves, having kidnapped a rich man (Brahmanandam).
