Despite the cricket world cup, rain and low publicity, the Ayushmann Khurrana film, 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' has scored well on its inaugurating weekend.

Positive and praising words of mouth have led the film to earn Rs. 6.25 crore over the first weekend, surpassing box office predictions.

The film engrossed Rs. 1.1 crore on Friday and saw a leap of 80-90 percent by Saturday banking Rs. 2.09 crores and a further jump of 50% was witnessed on Sunday banking Rs. 3.05 crores.

While, 'Ab Tak Chhappan 2' has been a poor receiver among the audience, first weekend collecting only Rs. 4.90 crore. The Friday collection summed up with Rs. 1.5 crore followed by Rs. 1.6 crore on Saturday and Rs. 1.8 crore on Sunday.

No further growth is witnessed and forecast is that, the film shall suffer severely.
