(Cover) - EN Movies - Elle Fanning says that director J.J. Abrams is "like a big kid".

The teenage actress, who stars in the filmmaker's new movie Super 8, has revealed her favourite part of filming the movie.

Elle, who is the sister of Hollywood child star Dakota Fanning, also named the hardest bit of shooting the sci-fi thriller.

"Being with all the guys was definitely the most fun part and J.J. is like a big kid as well, so we were all just together and laughing non-stop. It didn't feel like work at all," she told movie website Collider. "The hardest [part] would be the green screen work, but overall, it was just the best experience."

Elle also admitted that keeping her involvement in Super 8 a secret was tough, but once it was confirmed, her friends were eager to visit her on set.

But because the project was supposed to be shrouded in mystery, she had to turn them down.

"I actually had friends who asked me, Oh, can I visit you on set?' and I'm like, No, you're not even supposed to know about it. You can't know anything about the movie,'" she said. "I was so excited when I got the part and I couldn't even tell anyone that I even had it." (C) Cover Media
