(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Elton John predicts his son Zachary's upbringing will be "very difficult".

The musician believes that the little boy, who he is raising with partner David Furnish, will encounter homophobic prejudice and bullies who will attack his famous family.

The couple became parents to Zachary, who was born via a surrogacy mother, on Christmas Day 2010.

"Being the child of someone famous is a huge ball and chain around your ankles. It's going to be very difficult," Elton told British publication The Radio Times. "At school other children will say, You don't have a mummy'. We've come a long way, but there's still homophobia and will be until a new generation of parents don't instil it in their children."

The star added that the little boy calls him Daddy' and refers to David as Papa'.

The 65-year-old star recently admitted he had regrets about not becoming a parent earlier in his life, but the legendary singer was adamant the couple will have another child.

"I regret a little bit that I didn't do it sooner, but he has changed our lives. Everything is about him now. He's gorgeous, he travels brilliantly, he so loves people, and it makes our lives - he's the icing on the cake," Elton told a UK TV show.

"We definitely will have another one. At what stage we don't know, but we definitely will. I don't want him to be an only child." (C) Cover Media
