Filmmaker turned actor Farhan Akhtar has always been experimental with his looks and his films. From playing a rock star in his debut film to playing an international award winning sprinter Milkha Singh, Farhan has done it all.

Every single time, the actor worked hard not only to get the nuances right on screen but also he worked doubly hard to look his part in each film. And this time is no different.

The actor who has signed filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next film with Amitabh Bachchan, has already started working on the look in the same. He plays a cop and hence is training day in and day out to get into the skin of the character.

Considering the standard muscular cop look is perfected on screen by Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar in their films like 'Dabangg', 'Singham' and 'Rowdy Rathore', respectively, Farhan too wants to don a similar beefy avatar.

Reportedly he will be piling on at least 8kgs for the same. Though he had toned his physique in a lean frame for his sister Zoya Akhtar's next, the actor has been religiously working on to build his physique for the aforementioned film.
