(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Freida Pinto says Woody Allen urged her to be more real.

The actress is best known for her role in hit movie Slumdog Millionaire, which catapulted her to worldwide fame. For her next feature, Freida starred in Woody Allens latest direction, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger. In the film, Freidas character finds herself desired by two men at the same time.

The 26-year-old confirms that Woody wanted to make sure she looked authentic whilst portraying a sought after woman.

Woody didnt want things to be neat and combed. He wanted it to be more real. So every time I came out of the trailer with perfect hair, hed be like, Mess it up! she told Marie Claire.

The star, who was born and raised in Mumbai, said working with a film legend was an unexpected joy. She refutes claims that Woody can be distant, insisting he was the perfect gentleman.

A lot of people want me to give them stories about Woody being strange and aloof, but he wasnt like that at all. He was very chatty! she said. (C) Cover Media
