13th July 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Halle Berry has been granted a temporary restraining order against the man she says has "terrorised" her by invading her property three times in the past few days.

Richard Franco has been ordered by a L.A. County Superior Court judge to stay at least 100 yards away from the actress, her family and her home.

The alleged stalker jumped over the wall at Halle's Hollywood Hills home on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, finally being captured on his last attempt.

Legal documents obtained by TMZ detail the first incident where Halle said she was left "extremely frightened" when she came face to face with the intruder.

Halle said she was in her garage which is detached from her home and went back into her house through the kitchen door get a Diet Coke.

"As I opened my glass kitchen door and closed it behind me, all of a sudden I sensed someone behind me and turned to see the intruder standing less than a foot behind me, staring through my glass kitchen door," she says in her declaration.

"Panicking and in fear of my life, I turned my body and quickly hit the deadbolt lock on the glass door. I grabbed my phone and ran as fast as I could upstairs, slamming each door behind me as I ran."

Halle then called the police who came to her aid.

"This person has invaded and trampled upon the most fundamental sense of security I have and I am extremely frightened of him and what he might do to me and those I love," the Oscar winner said.

Richard is still in police custody and a hearing for Halle to receive a permanent restraining order has been set for August 1. (C) Cover Media
