(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan were spotted spending the weekend together in Nashville.

Movie star Jakes brief romance with country singer Taylor Swift reportedly fizzled out in January, while British actress Carey has been linked to a string of hunky Hollywood actors since splitting from Shia LaBeouf last year.

Jake and Carey are now believed to be getting closer, and recent sightings of the pair enjoying each others company in the US city of Nashville, Tennessee, have fuelled rumours of a romance.

Sources told PerezHilton.com that on Saturday night Jake, 30, and 25-year-old Carey were hanging out together in Nashville. The pair spent their time at a house party where there was a secret performance by English folk group Mumford & Sons. They then went on to enjoy dinner at the City House restaurant. Apparently, several eyewitnesses saw the couple together all night.

This isnt the first time in recent weeks that Carey has been linked to a good-looking actor. Only last week reports emerged she had been spending time with upcoming British actor Eddie Redmayne, 29, who is well known for his modelling work with Burberry as well as receiving a prestigious Tony Award last year for his performance in the play Red.
