Born Joshua Daniel Hartnett, he is an American actor and producer. As a child he was very interested in sports, especially football, no wonder he's got that lean and masculine physique, but couldn't continue further as he was left with an injury. As he moved on, a relative asked him to audition for a stage show. His first role made him fall in love with acting and then he never looked back as he had a new passion to build onto.

Hartnett is famously known for his performance in 'Pearl Harbour', 'Black Hawk Down', '40 Days and 40 Nights' and a few others.

Playing the role of Danie in 'Pearl Harbour' was his best , earning nominations for Best Male Performance and Choice Actor.

Living with great personality and aura, Josh has been featured in many magazine covers like Cosmogirl, Vanity Fair, Vogue, ELLE and many more.

Besides work, Josh also indulges in Social Activism and has joined many other stars to spread awarness over certain issues.
