(Cover) - EN Fashion - Julia Roberts doesn’t care if her toenails look “bad” because she would rather spend time with her children than get a pedicure.

The 42-year-old actress has three children, twins Hazel and Phinn, five, and three-year-old Henry, with her husband Danny Moder. Julia can’t believe how much time her kids take up, but doesn’t care that she no longer has time to indulge in various beauty treatments.

“I don’t have the luxury of sitting around any more,” Julia told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. “I must have had bags of spare time before I had children but I don’t know what I did with it and I didn’t appreciate it.

“But it’s such a terrific trade-off. I don’t have time to get a pedicure, but I sure am happy. Who cares if your feet look bad?”

Julia has been one of Hollywood’s biggest stars for nearly 20 years. She is proud of her career, and is very glad she isn’t trying to break into the industry today. The star is shocked by the amount of pressure to look perfect that is put on young actresses these days and has no idea how they cope with it.

“It has to be very confusing and difficult to be a young woman in Hollywood today,” Julia said. “The focus is so surgical on these girls – on everything they wear and every little detail of their lives in a way that I think is kind of negative.

“I don’t know how they handle it. It has to make you feel insecure and you want to cave in on yourself or you prevail because you have good parents, good values and you protect your inner self. It’s got to be hard.” (C) Cover Media
