Kate Hudson rids house of coyotes

26th September 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kate Hudson refused to allow trappers to kill a group of coyotes which had invaded her home, asking for them to be relocated instead.

The actress was devastated to hear a pack of the wild animals had settled in her Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles recently. Although she didnt want the marauding mutts to make the area their new home, she was equally as worried about over-zealous pest controllers exterminating them.

She contacted professional trappers, but asked for the coyotes to be relocated far away in the Santa Monica Mountains, a source explained.

Kate and her six-year-old son Ryder were thrilled to hear the animals had settled into their habitat well, and have vowed to go and visit them sometime in the future.

Kate isnt the only Hollywood star to be plagued by unwelcome creatures. Drew Barrymores garden was once infested with squirrels, but she got used to them and ended up giving the animals names. (C) Cover Media
