(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lady Gaga admits she commits "blasphemy" by drinking coffee in a teacup.

The 25-year-old US singer is famed for her love of kooky accessories, and often carries a retro teacup with her. The songstress admits she doesn't always fill the cup with its designated beverage, which the Brits are famed for enjoying, as she's more of a coffee drinker.

"Oh no, blasphemy, I'm drinking coffee in an English cup!" she laughed during an interview with more! magazine. "This is more blasphemous than the Judas video!"

The star, who is well known for her slender figure, enjoys her coffee with milk and sweetner, and admits the hot drink is a staple fixture in her diet. When quizzed about whether she sticks to strict diets the blonde beauty laughed that she's more interested in her tobacco and caffeine intake.

"Erm, dieting? No, it's just coffee and cigarettes!" she smiled.

Gaga also discussed her wacky persona, arguing that many people wrongly mistake her eccentricity for being an extrovert. The singer finds attending showbiz parties difficult to cope with as she always starts to feel timid.

"I get shy in Hollywood. At the very big celebrity' events," she confessed. (C) Cover Media
