Krishna Vamsi is currently working on a new film which has Nani playing the male lead. On 29th July, 2012, Vamsi celebrated his birthday, where the unit also held a press conference in Hyderabad.
Earlier it was heard that the movie is about Jagan Mohan Reddy, but Krishna cleared the rumors stating, "The film does not have anything to do with Jagan Mohan Reddy, or any other politician but the film's backdrop reflects the current political scenario in the state. And Nani is playing an interesting role of a Sherwani model from Old City in this film."
Nani surprised the entire crowd when he made an entry. He was very happy to be a part of Vamsi's film as earlier when he wanted to be his assistant director, he was not even allowed to enter the man's office, but today he is the main actor. He further added, that this is a challenging role and he is enjoying every bit.
The movie is touted to be an action film which has completed most of the shooting and now they have only the climax and a song to shoot.
