The TV star has two fashion lines, Winter Kate, which focuses on apparel, and jewellery line House of Harlow 1960. She recently allowed Nylon magazine to video the look book shoot for each of the collections, and gave some insight into the design process.

This is my third collection for Winter Kate and my fourth collection for House of Harlow 1960. The spring line was really inspired by my mother, she explained. There was a certain way in which she used to dress. Shes from the south and wore a lot of very feminine prints.

The star added she has created a range of sunglasses for the first time, which she is really pleased with. Shades are important to Nicole as she is rarely seen without them. She explained that she sees them as a brilliant way to accessorise and also a fun method of hiding the fact she rarely wears make-up.

The 29-year-old was keen to show fans how seriously she takes her career as a designer, explaining she is always thinking about the people who will buy her pieces when she is working.

Its important for me that the line is very accessible and that people can afford it, she said. The Winter Kate girl, I would describe her as a multi-tasker, someone who wears many different hats in their life and can wear something thats easy yet elegant at the same time. I definitely go a little bit more wild with the jewellery because I think that you can. I always think that you wear jeans and a T-shirt and then make the jewellery something that is the accent to your outfit. This is something that Im very passionate about and I take very seriously and I really love. (C) Cover Media
