It is Vishal Bhardwaj's next film titled 'Pataakha' and the makers have unleashed its official trailer which seems highly hilarious. It is the duo's enemity more than sisterhood portrayed on screen by Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan.
The trailer begins showcasing their chemistry right away from a glimpse of their childhood where both of them are uttering bad words at each other. After a span of time, they are now grown-ups and are even seen pulling each other's hair vigorously. It is Vijay Raaz as their father who is seen playing his character with some concern. Sunil Grover as their tapori friend is unrecognizable and in the end, these two sisters land in the same family. Click here to watch 'Pataakha' official trailer.
The trailer seems a fun ride and some moments are absolutely hilarious. The film is based on a critically acclaimed short story by renowned writer Charan Singh Pathik. The trailer ends with a dialogue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee, directed to Parvez Musharraf in Agra, "We can choose our enemies but not our neighbours, we can choose our relations but not our relatives."
The shooting for 'Pataakha' wrapped up in July and the film is scheduled to hit theatres on 28 September. Bharadwaj's last outing 'Rangoon' didn't do well at the box-office but this war of sisters seems an interesting hilarious fare.
