Riteish Deshmukh hails from a political family and hence he had stunned people when he had taken up acting as his profession.

Since then there has been no looking back for Riteish who has a great record as an actor. 

But his glamorous career as a Bollywood star hasn't stopped him from indulging in his other interests as well. 

Riteish has been working hard to churn out films in the Marathi industry and on the sidelines has been working as an architect as well. 

He wants to make Marathi films and open up bigger opportunities for the talent there. The actor will be also seen doing a Marathi film in coming days and has revealed that this film will be an action thriller. 

"I am in talks with some filmmakers and will announce some films soon. I am already working with Nishikanth Kamat in a Marathi action film. I want to take Marathi films to another level," said Riteish.

He pursued architecture before taking up acting and citing his interest in designing homes, this Degree Holder Architect has also recently designed filmmaker Karan Johar's new home in Bandra.

He was working hard on the designing for the past one year and it was completed just recently.

Riteish yearns for perfection and hence he claims that no matter what he does, films or designing, he takes his own time in doing full justice to his work.
