(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rupert Grint says the past ten years of his life have gone by "in a blur".
The actor has played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise since the first movie was released in 2001. He can't believe the films have now come to an end, and he is currently promoting the final instalment Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
He has enjoyed his time working on the movies, and when asked what his favourite moment was he struggled to single out just one experience.
"There are so many really," he said in an interview with British television show Daybreak. "It feels like the past ten years have gone by in a blur. It is hard to pick these little moments out. I think my first day on set was amazing because it was such a new world that I found myself in."
Rupert, 22, admits it was tough filming the final scenes for the last movie. He has become close friends with his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson and was upset when he saw them break down once the cameras stopped rolling.
"We knew it was coming, building up to that final week. It was like ten years, my whole childhood came down to this one tiny scene," he explained. "It was really sad, we all cried. It was seeing Dan and then Emma cry which triggered me; it was a mix of emotions. It was hard to describe, really."
Rupert also spoke about his hotly-anticipated kiss with Emma. In the new movie, their characters Ron and Hermione Granger finally confess their feelings for each other and share a passionate embrace. Rupert admits he found the lip lock awkward because he has known Emma for so long.
"It was a funny scene, I think we both said we weren't looking forward to it really," he added. "I know, it sounds crazy because Emma is lovely and I am sure loads of guys would be jealous. But it felt really weird for some reason, I have known her for so long since she was nine-years-old.
"I remember I could just see her face coming closer and closer as we were leaning in and I thought, What are we doing? This is really weird.'" (C) Cover Media
