Russell Armstrong therapy to be aired

26th September 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Russell and Taylor Armstrong's joint therapy sessions are going to be aired.

The couple had undergone marriage counselling in a bid to salvage their crumbling relationship and let The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cameras film their meetings.

Russell committed suicide by hanging himself last month but RadarOnline are reporting that the network that airs the show are still going ahead with the broadcast of their intimate talks with their therapist.

"Bravo has done major editing of the show, to be sensitive to the fact that Russell killed himself," a source told the site.

"However, the decision was made to air the footage of the therapy sessions.

"Viewers will see the two of them with their marriage counsellor, Dr. Charles Sophy, as well as individual sessions with Taylor.

"Russell's one-on-one sessions will not air. Taylor is completely supportive of the decision and thinks it will help battered women to make the decision to leave an abusive relationship, just like she did."

The marriage counselling sessions will apparently begin to air "in the next few weeks" and will show the couple talking about the problems that had affected their volatile relationship.

Last week Taylor opened up for the first time since her late husband hanged himself and says she is focused on raising their five-year-old daughter Kennedy and raising awareness of domestic abuse. (C) Cover Media
