(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sandra Bullock admitted she was looking forward to getting home when she attended the Oscars last night.
The actress insists she was happy to be involved in the prestigious event, as she was responsible for handing the best actor Academy Award to Colin Firth. Sandra who won best actress at last years ceremony said she hoped to enjoy herself at the Oscars, but couldnt help missing her baby son Louis.
"I want to have fun tonight. I'm saying that I want to have fun, but I don't know if I will, Sandra said on the red carpet before the awards kicked off. "It's hard, you just have to make a point of coming here and having a good time but all I want to do is go home.
But I'll make the best out of it and stick around.
The 36-year-old stars life has changed drastically since she picked up her Oscar 12 months ago. In the past year she has divorced her husband Jesse James, following rumours of his infidelity, and is raising her adopted baby from New Orleans.
Sandra admits her Oscars experience this year is a lot different to her preparations for the ceremony in 2010.
"I only had two hours of sleep," Sandra recalled about last years awards. "I remember none of it. I wasnt getting any sleep so now I'm going to take it in and enjoy it."
The actress said her son is amazing and says motherhood has made her a more laidback and understanding person. She also revealed she had a great day with her family when they celebrate Louis first birthday recently. Sandras sister made the guests a special birthday cake to mark Louis big day.
"My sister made a cake with avocado and he ate it. He loved it, she added. "It's made me a better person. I'm more patient and accommodating. I really appreciate where I am. (C) Cover Media
