After doing an intense film like 'Haider', Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has yet again moved to the commercial zone with 'Shaandar'.

The film which revolves around a destination wedding, will be helmed by Vikas Bahl of 'Queen' fame. The film brings a fresh pairing together as Shahid will romance Alia Bhatt on the screen for the first time.

Though Vikas has been tight lipped about the film, we have got a juicy trivia about the characters. We hear the lead characters, played by Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, are insomniacs.

They both play insomniacs which turns out to be the beginning of their bonding. The shooting of the film has already begun but Shahid would be taking a small break for the release of his film 'Haider' on October 2.

The film will also be extensively shot at UK. The overseas schedule is expected to wrap up by November.

Another interesting piece of news from the film is that though people know that this will be the first time that Shahid will be working with his father Pankaj Kapur onscreen, the film also marks the debut of Shahid's sister Sanaah.

Sanaah apparently also plays a key role in the film.
