Looks like Kajal Agarwal would replace Shruti Haasan in Dammu, a movie starring Jr.NTR in the lead role, due to so much delay in its start.

'Shruti had given dates for the film in March and it was scheduled to be completed by November. However, the shooting began just two weeks ago and the leading lady’s schedule hasn’t yet been decided. Shruthi opted out and the problem was sorted out amicably,' according to Shruthi's media manager.

Following this, the makers of the film have decided to sign Kajal Agarwal as the heroine. Since Kajal has already shared the screen space with the actor in Brindavanam, she is comfortable working with NTR and is eager to share the screen space with him again, sources say.

Currently, Kajal is busy shooting for K V Anand’s Suriya-starrer 'Maatraan' in Russia. She will be back in the country in a few days and the deal will be finalised after that, they added.
