Often the shuffling of dates creates havoc for the filmmakers and the stars involved. But it might turn fruitful, especially when you have a great working relationship and understanding between each other.
The latter is the case with filmmaker Rohit Shetty and superstar Shah Rukh Khan who have mutually decided to shuffle the dates for the shooting of 'Chennai Express' due to personal reasons.
The film was supposed to go on floors by the end of October, but around that time Shah Rukh Khan wanted to be there to support his co-owned cricket team 'Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) at the Champions League that will be in its final stages then.
As far as Rohit is concerned, he too has a personal reason, as his sister is getting hitched on November 11 and hence he would require some prior dates to be with his family.
When both discussed these commitments, they mutually decided to prepone the shooting by a month. So, instead of starting at the end of October, they will commence the shooting by September 27.
Apparently, a huge set will be created in Mumbai's Mehboob Studio from September 1. Touted to be a romantic comedy the film stars SRK playing the male lead and the female lead is expected to be announced soon.
