This seems to be the time to honour popular faces of Telugu film industry, who set new trends with their passion for cinema. 

Writer-actor Tanikella Bharani was felicitated at Dallas, USA by TANA, at the music launch of his maiden directorial venture, Mithunam, In association with other Telugu and Indian associations like TANTEX, NATA, ATA and IANT, the felicitation ceremony was conducted.

Mithunam is based on a short story written by renowned writer Sri Ramana and it stars SP Bala Subramaniam and Lakshmi in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who has completed 75 splendid years as an actor, will be honoured at a special Platinum Jubilee Celebration has been organized on 9 April.

This star studded event will take place at Shilpa Kala Vedika and the entire film industry will be taking part in the event, it is expected.
