Vikram fans have something to cheer about today - the trailer of their favourite star's forthcoming film Thaandavam, directed by A L Vijay, is being released.

There was no prior announcement about this till Dhananjayan, who heads the southern movies division of UTV Motion Pictures, came out with a posting on his microblogging page on Monday.

"Here is the surprise - Thaandavam's trailer launch is tomorrow," said the UTV official, who is in-charge of the film's production, marketing and distribution.

Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai are the leading ladies of this action adventure, which has Tollywood actor Jagapati Babu in a key role.

The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu as Shiva Thandavam.
