UCLA Student, Who Fabricated her Abduction, Attains Probation

14th August 2010

Washington, August 14, 2010 (Just Flashed): A female of southern California named Nancy Salas had fabricated a tale about her being taken hostage. The rationale behind her trumped-up tale was that she desired to steer clear of mentioning to her parents that she had quit her college. For that fabrication, Nancy has now been awarded the punishment of being under probation for three years. The 22-year-old Nancy Salas was also commanded on Friday to execute 100 hours of community service. This penalty has been awarded subsequent to her pleading 'no contest' to the accusation of initiating a bogus police report.

Nancy Salas had vanished in May. Her 'vanishing' had engendered an immense search for her. The equipments deployed to search for her included helicopters, canines and dozens of unpaid helpers. These individuals rummaged around the hills in close proximity to the dwelling of Nancy Salas in Glendale.

Nancy Salas had voiced to her family that she was about to graduate from UCLA. Nevertheless, the police officers detected that she hadn't been registered since 2008. She put in an appearance in downtown Merced and revealed to the policemen that she had been the victim of abduction.

Her defense lawyer happens to be Jeffrey Tenenbaum. He has mentioned that Nancy is functioning around the clock now and desires to return to college.
