Whitney Houston's medical and prescription records are reportedly being sought.

The Los Angeles County Coroner wants to find out exactly what pills the singer was taking leading up to her death on Saturday.

Subpoenas have apparently been obtained to get the information from the Bodyguard star's doctors, TMZ reports.

Whitney was found dead in the bathroom of the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles where the site claims that prescriptions for Xanax, Amoxicillin and ibuprofen were found.

The 48-year-old singer had a long battle with substance abuse and admitted to smoking marijuana and cocaine.

Meanwhile, sources have told Extra TV that Whitney's godmother, Aretha Franklin, has been asked to perform at her funeral which will take place at New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey this Saturday. It is the church that the iconic singer grew up singing in.

"How could I say no?" Aretha apparently said when personally asked by music mogul Clive Davis who was Whitney's mentor.

Insiders also told TMZ that Whitney proclaimed to friends that she "really wanted to see Jesus" in the days before she died and had somewhat of a premonition about her death.

Her last performance was on Friday night where she sang "Yes Jesus Loves Me" at Tru nightclub in Hollywood with long time friend Kelly Price.

She apparently read bible passages involving John the Baptist and Jesus and smiled saying "I'm gonna go see Jesus."

"You know, he's so cool I really want to see that Jesus," she reportedly said to friends.

Insiders say that the I Will Always Love You singer "felt like her time was coming" and wanted to spend her time praising her Lord.
