Political-drama 'Youngistaan' has entered the list of 87th Academy Awards for the best foreign film category. Starring Jackky Bhagnani and Neha Sharma the film was released on March 28, 2014.

Producer of the film and Jackky's father, Vashu Bhagnani said, "I am extremely happy that the film could make an official entry to the Oscars. I hope it sees success in the near future and gets a nomination as well. Fingers crossed!"

It was sent as an independent entry, the nominations for the same will be announced on January 15, 2015.

The film was supposedly based on the life of Rahul Gandhi, who joined politics post his father's assassin.
