(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Zac Efron says his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens helps keep him down to earth.

The hunky actor has been in a relationship with his pretty High School Musical co-star since 2005, and he attributes his unpretentious nature to having Vanessa and his familys unwavering support.

However, just because hes grounded, Zac insists that doesnt mean he lacks ambition. In fact, the talented star says he envisages big things for his career in the future and is daring when it comes to making movie choices.

"I don't know fear. There is an American proverb; I have my head in the clouds with my feet on the ground. That means: I do have dreams but stay humble and down-to-earth. My family and my girlfriend Vanessa take care of that!" he told German magazine Bravo.

Zac demonstrated his bold nature when he made the move from teenage musicals into serious acting, with one of his recent roles being in the movie Charlie St. Cloud.

Zac plays the title character in the drama about a young man who is struggling to overcome the death of his younger brother. The actor says although he knew he was taking a risk, he was always confident with the direction he wanted his career to go in.
