After revealing the film's poster, the makers are out with a 2 and a half minutes trailer of 'Dil Junnglee' which is absolutely quirky and engaging. It is the tickling chemistry of the two that makes things more interesting. The trailer introduces Saqib Saleem as Sumit Uppal a gym trainer and a whimsical character who loves to throw his unwanted poems. While Taapsee Pannu plays Koroli Nair, an English teacher who had a heartfelt break up with her fat looking boyfriend and is now attracted to her student Sumit.
It is her friend who suggests Koroli to have a fun relationship without any emotions, but she ends up falling for him. After a course of time, we see both the leads living happily with their respective partners, but they meet again by fate and everyone is messed in a situation they never expected.
It is the catchy background of a peppy title track that makes it even more interesting. Helmed by Aleya Sen and produced by Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, this romcom also features Abhilash Thapliyal, Shrishti Shrivastav and Nidhi Singh.
The actor turned producer Jackky Bhagnani will also feature in one of the songs sung by Guru Randhawa. He said, ''Being a son of a producer, I know how difficult it is to bring the audience to the theatre. So I am more than happy with the release. It makes a lot of difference because we can get more screens that help to reach a wider audience."
The film is slated to release on February 16 during the Valentines' weekend. Click here to watch its official trailer.
