The 38-year-old burlesque performer is famed for her retro aesthetic, and always appears in public with immaculate hair and make-up and sporting a variety of traditional 1940s-style outfits.

The raven-haired beauty, who advocates classic fashion choices, has taken to her personal Twitter account to discuss a particular Paris-inspired look that she isn't too sure about.

"Can anyone explain this thing Parisienne girls have for wearing black tights with jean shorts? I'm puzzled by this popular look (sic)," she wrote on her Twitter page.

Dita is perplexed as to why so many girls are teaming shorts with tights. The stunning star is unsure as to how the fashion look has ended up being so popular.

"I notice it so much because I see this look on 2-3 girls all at once walking down the street, several times a day. #jeanshorts+tights," she continued.
