The much-awaited Suriya starrer 'Maatraan' is on the floors. Directed by K V Anand, the shooting of 'Maatraan', produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram's AGS Entertainment, commenced in Chennai recently.

The music is scored by Harris Jayaraj. Remember the music composer is known for coming out with 'golden hits' whenever he joins hands with Suriya and K V Anand. While 'Kaakha Kaakha' and 'Vaaranam Ayiram' stand testimony to the Suriya-Harris combo, 'Ayan' and 'Ko' speak for K V Anand-Harris combo.

The buzz is that a couple of songs have already been recorded by Harris, which sources say have turned out good. Harris, meanwhile, is waiting for the release of '7aam Arivu' music, starring Suriya and directed by A R Murugadoss.
